Joasia Crawford offers outdoor nature-based, in-person and online counselling. She works with individuals, couples and families, counselling on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief & loss and family issues. She is a registered counsellor with the CCPA and feels privileged to be invited to sit with people in the best and hardest times of their lives.

As a therapist, she is grounded and real. She helps clients feel safe and supported as they tackle the complexities of life. She is here to help "navigate" your new landscape with the focus being on growth and positive change. This is an opportunity for you to gain a better understanding of yourself, learn new skills to navigate everyday challenges, and improve your well-being. Life is too short to hide or sit on issues and challenges. Give your feelings space to breathe so you can feel, deal and heal.

Her approach in therapy is collaborative and grounded in acceptance, truthfulness, openness and humour. She believes the work to be done together is grounded in the relationship that is built-in therapy and that the work must align with the client's unique situation. When people feel listened to and understood, the groundwork is set for growth.

We can't help but be shaped by our relationships and experiences, especially ones resulting from our childhood, which means that our current patterns of behaviour and emotions can originate from our past. Joasia is of the belief that the past plays into the present but does not need to dictate one’s future. She will help you uncover things in order to cultivate growth and learning. She will be your anchor and guide you on a path of healing, growth and transformation.

Since childhood, she has always been drawn to helping people and has found that others have instinctively come to her. She discovered early on that she has an ability to help people to question, reflect and challenge their attitudes and beliefs - recognizing there is no right or wrong but simply the uncovering of people's personal truths. Joasia offers a modern and fresh view on therapy that empowers clients to seek and attain a change in themselves and their lives.

This time in your life goes by quickly. Try and enjoy every moment! Many of us at the clinic are also Moms. We know what it’s like to be pregnant and we know the aches and pains.

We specialize in Prenatal Massage.  We have gone beyond just the basic education that we received in our massage schools and have hired an instructor to come to the clinic and teach us all prenatal, post-natal, and c-cetion scar massage techniques.

Prenatal massage is a massage specifically designed for the expectant mother. It differs from regular massage because the mom-to-be receives the massage in a side-lying position to avoid pressure on the belly. We use a Prenatal Massage Cushion specifically designed for the growing belly.  Many of our first time moms are skeptical about receiving a massage on their side until they experience it. It is one of the most comfortable positions! Don’t fear – deep/firm pressure can still be applied.
