Dr Marc Sonntag
Marc was born and raised in Fernie, BC. He took the scenic route to medicine, with stops as a mountain biker, sport attendant on the national paraplegic bocce ball team, and Registered Nurse in emergency medicine. He then attended medical school in Calgary and completed his family medicine residency in Nanaimo, BC.
He followed his wife and dog to Canmore, joining the Mountain Maternity and Family Medicine team. When he is not at work, he enjoys cycling and running (really any activity) as well as pursuing the goal of growing vegetables in Canmore’s challenging climate.
Dr. Marc Sonntag is a full-time non-delivery physician.
