Dr Patty Edgar
Patty moved to the Bow Valley immediately after finishing medical school and 3 years of Surgical training at the University of Toronto. She decided that small town Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Obstetrics was where her heart lay. And, Banff offered an unbeatable lifestyle with the best views in Canada from her office window.
After practicing and raising a family in Banff, she jumped at the offer to move her practice to Canmore to continue to be part of a busy Obstetric group. Dr. Edgar juggles office days, OR assists, and Obstetric call with lots of time spent biking, skiing with the Alberta Masters' team, or enjoying less structured time with her 2 incorrigible Wheaten terriers.
She enjoys working and playing hard while trying not to let one interfere with the other.
