Dr Benjamin Parkin
Dr. Parkin was born and raised in Calgary, where he developed a lifelong love for the mountains and the outdoors. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Calgary, he trained as a paramedic before moving to Australia to pursue his medical degree at Griffith University. He went on to complete family medicine training in rural Queensland, splitting his time between a local family practice and the hospital emergency department.
Now back in Canada to be closer to family and the Rockies, Ben enjoys the full scope of family medicine, with particular interests in holistic care, preventative chronic disease management, men’s health, acute care, and procedural medicine. In his free time, he loves being with his wife and two young daughters, exploring nature, and engaging in conversations about theology.
Dr. Benjamin Parkin is a full-time non-delivery locum physician.
