Bekki Hammill, NP
Bekki was born and raised in Ontario, Canada. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Western Ontario in 2010, and worked as a primary care Registered Nurse for many years. She went on to complete her Master of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner degree in 2018. She has worked at large Toronto and smaller rural Ontario team-based primary care clinics before moving to Canmore in 2023 for a Nurse Practitioner role with the Bow Valley Primary Care Network. Most recently she was supporting the patients of Bear Street Family Physicians in Banff.
The foundation of her practice is patient-centric ensuring that every patient is involved in a collaborative approach to their healthcare decisions and care plan. She offers full scope primary care, with a special interest in sexual health, women’s health including family planning and contraception, and pediatrics.
When she’s not in the clinic, she can be found out in the mountains on horseback, hiking, camping, or skiing.
