Dr Kyla Freeman
Dr. Kyla Freeman is from BC originally and moved to Alberta for her Family Medicine Residency. She was fortunate enough to do some of her training in Canmore with the team at Mountain Maternity and Family Medicine. After completing additional surgical obstetrical training in Winnipeg, MB, she returned to locum with the MMFM team. She is very grateful to be part of the Canmore obstetrical teams, where she provides surgical call coverage and locum coverage for the full time MMFM physicians. She enjoys family medicine and is passionate about rural obstetrical care. At this time, she continues to locum in other rural communities when not providing services locally.
Outside of work, Dr. Freeman enjoys being in the outdoors in all seasons, whether hiking, biking, canoeing, or cross-country skiing.
