Dr Katie Clark
Katie is pleased to be part of the Mountain Maternity & Family Medicine team. She took a roundabout way into medicine but could not be happier with where she finally ended up!
She grew up in Northern Ontario and moved to Toronto where she studied and worked as a registered nurse, in downtown emergency departments and in labour & delivery. In her off time she was an armoured officer in Canada’s reserve forces. After getting married and spending some time travel nursing, she could no longer ignore the call of further studies. She moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia and attended medical school at Dalhousie University. Katie made her way to Calgary where she completed her family medicine residency and additional training in maternal and child health.
When not at work, she is spending time with her favorite people: her husband and two lovely daughters. She also loves to travel and try her hand at photography. She enjoys exploring the local area with her family and discovering everything the Bow Valley has to offer.
Dr. Katie Clark is a full-time delivery physician.
